At Farmers Fishers Bakers, we’ve decided that a single day for Cinco de Mayo is just not enough. This year, we’re taking the whole weekend to celebrate.
Join us at Farmers Fishers Bakers at the Georgetown Waterfront this weekend, May 5-7th.
While we won’t have a mariachi band, we will have something that no other restaurant in town can offer: specialty handcrafted cocktails made by our award-winning Beverage Director Jon Arroyo (pictured here). Sure to please, Jon’s libations promise to bring a little bit of fiesta to your weekend
For the traditionalist, we have the Boiler Maker #44, which is Avión 44 Tequila served neat with a small side of Modelo Especial for $12. If you’re looking for a little sweetness, try our Strawberry-Ginger Blended Margarita made with Avión Silver Tequila, fresh ginger, strawberries, and agave for $12. Or perhaps you need to spice things up a bit. We recommend Señor Arroyo Circa 2010 made with Altos Tequila Añejo, pineapple, thyme, and jalepeño for $12.
Try one. Or, since you have the whole weekend to celebrate with us, try all three and let us know which is your favorite.
As a special treat to kick off the weekend festivities, this Friday, May 5th from 5pm-7pm, come meet brand ambassadors from global spirits and wine industry leader Pernod Ricard to talk tequila and learn about makers Avión and Altos. Plus, they’ll likely come loaded with free swag.
Of course, celebrating doesn’t need to end with cocktails. Join us for a meal too. We will be serving our usual menus. With so many choices, we always have something for everyone. It doesn’t get much more festive than our weekend Farmers Market Brunch. We recommend making a reservation.
So, here’s to a whole weekend of tasty festivity in honor of Mexico’s triumph over France. Salud! Happy Cinco de Mayo.
