Memorial Day is almost here, a holiday that for most marks the start of summer and a time of reverence in honor of our nation’s soldiers. Let us help you enjoy your Memorial Weekend!
What better place to celebrate Memorial Day than in our nation’s capital, at DC’s waterfront on the banks of the Potomac River, and just two miles, as the crow flies, from Arlington National Cemetery. Whether you’re joining the national celebrations across the DC area, the National Memorial Day Parade or the National Memorial Day Concert, or gathering with family and friends, pulling out your summer whites, and simply enjoying three days off… we hope you make your way to Farmer Fishers Bakers. We are serving our famous Farmers Market Buffet Brunch Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Farmers Restaurant Group will welcome guests in all seven of our restaurants for the three-day long weekend. Voted as a top DC Best Brunch spot by Washingtonian Magazine readers and Washington City Paper’s Best of DC, our brunches are always a bounty of food and drinks we make from scratch primarily using ingredients from family farms across America.
Our brunch menus vary some by location.
For Memorial Day Weekend, we will be serving our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch at Farmers Fishers Bakers on the Georgetown Waterfront on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch is also available all three days at Founding Farmers Tysons, King of Prussia in Pennsylvania, and Farmers & Distillers in DC’s Mt Vernon Square. This festival of food is hard to beat with traditional breakfast fare such as buttermilk pancakes and bacon, a butchers table, a gardeners table ripe with fresh salads, and lots of passed decadence.
Founding Farmers DC and MoCo’s Founding Farmers in Potomac, MD have a sit-down, a la carte style service all three days that includes our ever-popular Chicken & Waffles made breakfast-style with scrambled eggs, French toast, benedicts, buttermilk pancakes, poached egg hashes, and our amazing applewood smoked bacon.
Founding Farmers Reston Station will be serving our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch on Sunday and our a la carte brunch on Saturday and Monday.
Our brunch drinks are also fan favorites. In all of our restaurants, we make craft cocktails with our Founding Spirits and house-made mixers. From the best Bloody Mary in town, according to Washington City Paper, to our Fisher’s Tikis at Farmers Fishers Bakers, to our Whimsical Shared Cocktails at Farmers & Distillers, to our old fashioned scratch sodas, we can usually quench anyone’s thirst. Of course, we also serve our delicious house-roasted coffee.
There are a lot of reasons to visit one of our farmer-owned restaurants over Memorial Day weekend. If you can, we recommend making a reservation. For specifics on our brunch hours and menus for each location, go to:
